Located in Oil City, Pennsylvania, Amy’s Closet is a locally owned women’s boutique offering a wonderful selection of fashionable clothing, unique accessories, and thoughtful gifts.
Amy Whitehall, owner of Amy’s Closet, has been in the retail business for over 40 years. She worked in major department stores in Washington D.C., Palm Beach, Connecticut, and Erie, PA, prior to her settling in Emlenton.
She has experience in Human Resources and Operations Manager at the Bon Ton store at the Cranberry Mall for five years. During that time, Bon Ton was expanding with new locations, and she would help with conversions and store setup in the Pennsylvania area.

In 1995, Amy turned that passion into her own business, opening the original Amy’s Closet on Main Street in historic Emlenton, Pennsylvania. Over the years, her boutique became a special destination for women seeking stylish fashions and a more personal approach to shopping.
When a fire destroyed the original store in 2015, Amy’s dedication to her business and community never wavered. She relocated to the historic Crawford Center on Hill Street in Emlenton, where Amy’s Closet continued welcoming shoppers. Today, with her downtown Oil City, Amy’s love of fashion and personal service continues to be at the heart of everything she does.
